What is creative arts therapy?
Creative arts therapy is a psychotherapeutic technique that uses art, storytelling, drama, music, and guided play to address psychological and emotional issues. My work provides participants with tools and frameworks to express themselves creatively and in turn gain insights into their lives and begin to heal.

At what age can my child start working with you?
I work one-on-one with children and teens between the ages of six and sixteen.
If your child is younger than six we may be able to do family sessions together; don’t hesitate to reach out.

What does Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) mean?
RP (Qualifying) psychotherapists (like me!) are registrants of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. They have completed their psychotherapy training and are legally authorized to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy. As they are new to the field, they are required to practise with clinical supervision as they gain experience in the profession.
-
Are your services covered by insurance?
Psychotherapy is covered under most benefit plans. Insurance coverage may be available to you through your extended health benefits under my Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) designation in the province of Ontario. Check with your provider for the most up to date information.
-
Do you offer in-person appointments?
I currently only offer virtual appointments, however, if virtual appointments are not ideal for your child let’s chat about it!
